ROLE: How you contribute to Tembec
Work within a team to perform maintenance on electrical and/or instrumentation and control systems. Install, repair, modify, and troubleshoot industrial equipment used for electrical/electronic distribution and control (power and domestic). You need to be safety-conscious, energetic, and able to understand your role in our team.
 
 
REQUIREMENTS: What you bring to our workplace
 
  • Education: Graduate of an Electrical Engineering Technology Program or equivalent
  • Certification: Valid Quebec Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent
  • Experience: 3-5 years
  • Language: French, bilingualism is an asset
 
CONDITIONS: Compensation and hours
 
  • Wages: $23.22 to $26.50 per hour
  • Hours: 40 per week.
  • Shift work: May be required

  • Tembec’s Bearn sawmill, with 120 employees, produces softwood lumber as well as wood chips.

  • The comprehensive shopping and services of Rouyn-Noranda and North Bay are one (1) hour and thirty (30) minutes drive away.
